Trish VanOsdel

Personal Property Appraiser

Joining the McCurdy Team as a personal property appraiser, Trish brings a wealth of knowledge in appraisals and a love of fine art and antiques. As a personal property appraiser, Trish provides USPAP (Unified Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) compliant appraisals and valuations of client assets, collections and personal treasures for insurance purposes, estate planning, charitable tax contributions, and property divisions. Trish's expertise extends to residential contents, business assets, estates and trusts, and private collections.

Having grown up attending auctions with her father, Trish fell in love with the excitement and performance of the auction arena. She has been buying and selling antiques and collectibles over twenty years and more recently conducting estate sales. Trish is also a practicing artist, exhibiting at local galleries and museums, including the Ulrich Art Museum on the Wichita State University Campus. She has served on several art committees with local art museums and is active in several artist collectives.

Trish has received certificates of completion for appraisal research, report writing and the legal and regulatory environment from the American Society of Appraisers and her education background includes an associate's degree in Applied Arts from Wades College in Dallas, a bachelor's degree in Fine Art from Wichita State University and a Master of Fine Arts from Alfred University in New York. When she is not in the office, she is likely at one of Wichita's phenomenal museums, cruising Commerce Street and local galleries on a First Friday with her husband, or in her studio creating her next masterpiece.
