UNION RESCUE MISSION SET TO RECEIVE ALL PROCEEDS FROM AUCTION WITH MCCURDY

Wichita, KS – McCurdy Auction is excited to announce that the proceeds from the auction of 226 S. Bonnie Brae St on June 1st will be donated to Union Rescue Mission of Wichita.

The four-bedroom home in the Bonnie Brae subdivision is set to be offered at absolute auction.

“This home will be selling regardless of price with no minimum and no reserve,” Braden McCurdy, CEO and Auctioneer of McCurdy Auction said. “What makes this auction so special is that all of the proceeds from this sale will be given to Union Rescue whose goal is to help the homeless and poor in our community.”

The owner of the home gifted the property to Union Rescue Mission in his will in late 2018.

“The Union Rescue Mission is grateful for the gift of this estate to support our ministry,” Doug Nolte, CEO of Union Rescue Mission said. “What is so unique and wonderful is that it is the sale of a home that will go to help the homeless.  I can think of no better way to honor those in need.”

The property features four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and a two-car garage. 

“June 1st will be a pretty special day not only for the lucky buyer, but also the lasting impact these funds will have for our community,” McCurdy said. 

The on-site auction is scheduled for June 1st at 1 PM. The property will be open one hour prior to the auction and shown by appointment.

The Union Rescue Mission is an evangelical Christian ministry committed to sharing the gospel and meeting the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of the homeless and poor in the Wichita community.
